I've gotten a bit behind on this blog so I'll try and catch up on the last few weeks....
We all had a good time while Heather and Austin were here, it was sad to see them go. Hopefully next time they can come for a long time.
The studio floor is almost done, we just need to sand and finish it. We've added another bench along the front side.
The bar is looking great, we've added a sink, cabinet, lighting, and some handmade barstools.
We've been busting out the furniture... Here are a couple of our new tables...
We've been seeing a lot of interesting birds lately, toucans, aracaris, woodpeckers and more... And as always we have a lively bunch of frogs, lizards, and insects around...
Carlos planted a bunch of cucumbers, green beans, and peanuts few weeks back and they are doing well. We've also got several tomatoes and some new starts of kale, lettuce, onions, and herbs. Hopefully we can have some fresh organic veggies for the dry season. The tempate is also looking very healthy.
Jazen and Robyn are here, they've already got lists of things they'll be working on :)
We're all looking forward to the big New Years bash!

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks...... Chris went home (temporarily:), lots of projects have been happening, our friend Brent came to visit, and Sam, Mike, and Brent took a short trip to the beach. So, I haven't been keeping a detailed journal of what all has been happening. Here are some pics and descriptions of the main things that have been going on.....
The bamboo above and around the bar is finished. It really ties the place together....
When we broke in the bar with a couple of drinks we realized that we were missing a vital component, places to sit..... So we constructed these benches.....
The landscaping around the bar and the house are looking great!
This is our friendly house gecko, he's taken up residence in the bathroom and makes brief appearances now and then.
Mike and Sam have been brewing up some tasty beverages; kalua, mint liquor, amaretto, and some stiff alcohol that will light your belly (and other things) on fire.
Until next time.......

While they were working they found this beautiful frog.

Construction of a dry room. This will be a big closet to store all of our electronics. This will keep the humidity from killing our stuff.
